The Audrey Emerton Building was built by Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust to create a stimulating and friendly environment for the education and training of healthcare professionals. The building is named after Baroness Emerton, whose long and distinguished career in the NHS culminated with her chairmanship of the former Brighton Health Care NHS Trust from 1994 - 2000. Baroness Emerton was at the forefront of developing excellence in nursing care in the NHS for many years.
The building is used for medical education and meetings, however the Brighton and Sussex University Hospital Trust would like to share these excellent facility with local businesses and the general public.
